Background: Cash is a small and friendly Chihuahua. He is a blue and tan spotted on white long coat male. He just turned 1 year old and we were so excited for him to begin his breeding career here at SFC, but unfortunately he did not pass his certification on his patellas (knees). He has grade 1 luxating patellas in both knees. This may stay the same grade his entire life or it may worsen. There is just no way to know and this is a common condition within this breed. Because we are trying to so hard to eliminate this condition, we do not want to perpetuate a cycle that this poor breed has to have considered common. Cash was taken into our vet to be neutered but unfortunately did not do well under the premeds and was not able to be neutered. It is recommended that he sees a cardiologist. My vet suspects that he may have a second degree AV block, but this is not confirmed. He has been genetically health tested through Embark vet and his results are above for viewing. He is overall, a pretty healthy and happy little dog. Just under 6 lbs. He is dog door trained, crate trained and treat motivated. He has not yet been leash trained or fully potty trained. He has worn a belly band in our home because of frequent marking. He eats a normal diet of Purina ProPlan. Sample of his food will be sent home to transition him. Since this guy is fairly young and easily adaptable, we are offering him to out of state clients and shipping can be arranged. He does well in the car and does not get car sick. He wears cute little doggy clothes well. He enjoys being brushed and groomed. He can be treat motivated. I'm happy to allow you to meet him after you send us in an application and it has been pre-approved. I've found that over the years, once a male is no longer around intact females, their marking tendency can be minimized. He was born in Michigan. We have had since he was 8 weeks old.
A puppy application must be submitted and pre-approved prior to a meet in greet. All adult dogs have a 14 day money back guarantee if the dog does not work out for you in your home. The dog must be brought back to the original location of pick up by scheduled appointment, and a refund will be issued to you within 30 days, minus any fees you may have had during the initial adoption. We encourage all prospective adopters to really think this through and not take on a dog that may not work for you. We want his next home to be his forever home. To submit an application for Cash, please use our puppy application for consideration.

Please be aware that Cash is from a breeding home. He will not be fully potty trained in a new environment and will take patience and the ability to retrain to establish a new routine

Please read the post below about the 3/3/3 rule! Not one dog is like another and you need to be open minded when adopting an adult dog who is very used to their current environment
