Background: Full disclosure, Guinevere was adopted 6 months ago and was recently returned to us due to a family emergency in our clients home. We recently had her vetted again and brought her Rabies up to date and did a dental cleaning on her.

Guinevere was born and raised at SFC. She is a 2nd generation of SFC. Her father has Russian imported bloodlines so Guinevere is "big boned".  She was an integral part of our breeding program over the last few years. She has been pre-loved, pre-spoiled and cherished during her time with us. Guinevere knows her name very well but you can change it. She was named after the Netflix show, "You." She loves to sleep in bed, loves snuggles and wants to be the center of your day. She is a sweet girl if you give her time to get to know you. She does well with our entire family but Guinevere seems more like a one person type of dog. She is a minimal barker believe it or not! She is a lilac and white double smooth coat, but her coat doesn't need brushing as much as some of our others. Lilac is a diluted form of chocolate. The links above for her Embark and OFA should be accurate to show her health screenings we had completed. Guinevere is leash trained. She does well in the car.  Guinevere is easy to bathe and trim nails. She is pee pad trained and dog door trained as well as crate trained. For the most part Guinevere uses the pee pads when inside and uses the grass when outside for potty time. She does very well with both. Guinevere does well with both men or woman, but we would prefer a home without small children. She has not been raised with small children and I would prefer her forever home not contingent on this. I believe Guinevere would also do well with cats or large breed dogs.

We encourage all prospective adopters to really think this through and not take on a dog that may not work for you. We want her next home to be her forever home. To submit an application for Guinevere, please use our puppy application for consideration.

  • Please be aware that Guinevere is from a breeding home. She will not be fully potty trained in a new environment and will take patience and the ability to retrain to establish a new routine

  • Please read the post below about the 3/3/3 rule! Not one dog is like another and you need to be open minded when adopting an adult dog who is very used to their current environment

  • Shipping available (new owner agrees to pay for return shipping if placement doesn't work out)

  • Meet in greet encouraged but not required
