Background: King is a blue fawn brindle smooth coat male. Almost three years old. We have had him since he was 9 weeks old. He is a little comedian and just is so funny! He is under 6 lbs. He loves people and other dogs. We do not have small children, cats or large dogs so he  may be unsure of all of these things. Because he is coming from a breeding environment, we encourage you to plan to teach him your routine for potty training. At this time, he is used to using indoor potty pads or using a dog door to go to the yard to go potty. We keep our males in belly bands. The belly bands can be purchased off of Amazon and easily washed in the washing machine. We will also send some home with him too! He is neutered now, and from experience and feedback from our previous clients, once a male is removed from a setting that there are intact female dogs, potty training should be pretty easy to manage. Remember to have patience, consistency and open mind when adopting an adult dog of any breed! He eats Purina ProPlan and loves it. He isn't leash trained since we own property and he runs and runs, but he is super smart and can be taught to wear a harness and walked on a leash. This is a dog that would love to join you camping, hiking, fishing, etc. He loves the outdoors. He does fine in the car. He loves to snuggle in your bed, but will also sleep in a dog bed. He is crate trained. King is a fully health tested male. He has been genetically health tested through Embark Vet. He has had his eyes, patellas and heart both certified with the orthopedic foundation for animals. We require that you will keep in touch with us if you want to adopt him.  It generally takes 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn a new routine, and 3 months to start to feel at home. We do require that you submit a puppy application for consideration. This is not a first come first serve placement. The application fee is non-refundable. I will allow public meet in greets for local families.

We encourage all prospective adopters to really think this through and not take on a dog that may not work for you. We want his next home to be his forever home. To submit an application for King, please use our puppy application for consideration.

  • Please be aware that King is from a breeding home. He will not be fully potty trained in a new environment and will take patience and the ability to retrain to establish a new routine

  •

Shipping is open for consideration to the right home and application

  • Meet in greet not required but encouraged
