Background: Thomas is a male that we kept back from one of our summer litters from Juliyana and Rhys. Both are still active dogs in our breeding program. We fell in love with Thomas immediately and kept him back. He is a great little dude, but unfortunately his size has surpassed what we want for our goals in our program. He is just now 7 months old now and just over 9 lbs. He is a very happy, lively puppy. He loves people and other dogs. He enjoys being held and will shower you with kisses. He is curious and loves to play with toys. If you've been wanting one of our Merle's but maybe couldn't afford one, here is your chance to snag an awesome pup! We have genetically health tested him through Embark Vet and his results are posted above in the link. He is cleared in all categories. He has been vet checked a couple of times and has done fine. His last wellness exam was 02/03/23. His Rabies is up to date. He is a healthy pup. I will consider an out of state home and offer shipping for an additional charge if the right home presents itself. We are not requiring meet in greets, although it is an option with an approved application in place. He is still on Purina Proplan puppy food and he will be sent home with some to transition him. We will require that he is neutered within six months of his adoption. He is not fully potty trained as he is coming from a breeding environment. We use belly bands for our males. The belly bands can be purchased off of Amazon and easily washed in the washing machine. We will also send some home with him too! From experience and feedback from our previous clients, once a male is removed from a setting that there are intact female dogs, potty training can be reintroduced and he can be taught to stop the marking in the home. It will take consistency and we can't guarantee that each dog we rehome can be fully potty trained so it's best to adopt him with an open mind and know that a bad habit like this, may never go away. He isn't leash trained since we own property and he runs and runs, but he is super smart and can be taught to wear a harness and walked on a leash. He is treat motivated and would be a great pup with children.  We require that you will keep in touch with us if you want to adopt him.  It generally takes 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn a new routine, and 3 months to start to feel at home. We do require that you submit a puppy application for consideration. This is not a first come first serve placement. The application fee is non-refundable. I will allow public meet in greets for local families.

A puppy application must already be submitted and pre-approved prior to the meet in greet.

We encourage all prospective adopters to really think this through and not take on a dog that may not work for you. We want his next home to be his forever home. To submit an application for Thomas, please use our puppy application for consideration.

  • Please be aware that Thomas is from a breeding home. He will not be fully potty trained in a new environment and will take patience and the ability to retrain to establish a new routine

  • All locations are open to apply

  • Shipping is available on Thomas for an additional charge

  • Meet in greet not required but encouraged
