The puppies listed on this page are currently available for adoption. A non-refundable holding fee is required to reserve a puppy until they are ready to join their new home. We generally accept holding fees on puppies up to 16 weeks of age. If the puppy is older than 16 weeks, the full payment will be required to place a hold unless otherwise noted.
Holding fee amounts can be found on the Deposits tab above, or listed alongside each available puppy. Puppies are typically ready to leave for their new homes at 10 weeks of age or older. In some cases, they may be ready at 9 weeks, which is the earliest we allow puppies to leave Salem’s Finest Chihuahuas, and only when we determine it is in the puppy’s best interest. Each puppy is evaluated individually, and readiness may vary.
We make every effort to keep the “Pending” status updated in a timely manner, but availability is not guaranteed until a holding fee or payment is received and confirmed.
➡️ Please note:
-
Holding Fees are non-refundable, but may be transferable to another available puppy with a transfer fee.
-
Puppies are only placed with approved applicants. An application is required and includes a $25 non-refundable fee.
-
Estimated adult weights are just that—estimates—and may be updated over time.
-
Prices listed are for Limited AKC Registration, meaning you agree to spay or neuter the puppy as outlined in our mutual contract. Full AKC may be available on select puppies for an additional charge. Please inquire if interested.
-
Puppies will not be listed until they are at least 8 weeks old.
-
Prices are subject to change at the seller’s discretion if the puppy remains available without a holding fee. A holding fee locks in the listed price.
-
All of our puppies come with a one-year limited genetic health guarantee.
-
For the safety of our puppies, those listed below are not eligible for meet-and-greets until fully vaccinated. Families select from photos and videos, with frequent updates on our website and social media.

Name: "Teagan"
Gender: Female
Color/Markings: Blue & White Harlequin Merle spotted on white with one blue eyes
Coat: Smooth Coat
Personality: Teagan is an extraordinarily tiny little girl who has been incredibly petite her entire life! This precious little mouse is truly one of a kind and holds a very special place in our hearts. Born as a singleton to her biological mama, Talladega, Teagan had the unique experience of being raised by not one, but THREE wonderful mamas! Liberty, Jocelyn, and Talladega all played a role in raising this tiny little bean, and she grew up alongside their litters as though all those puppies were her very own siblings. Talk about a special upbringing! Teagan is an absolute sweetheart who is overflowing with affection and kisses. She wants nothing more than to be as close to her person as physically possible! Tuck her into your shirt, your hoodie, your purse, or anywhere she can snuggle up against you, and she's perfectly content. She doesn't just want to be near you; she wants to be a part of you! This darling little girl is the definition of a tiny, devoted companion with an enormous amount of love to give. Teagan does have an open molera, which is commonly seen in very small toy breeds, as well as a malocclusion (overbite). These are important considerations for her future family. Due to her exceptionally small size, Teagan's placement will be handled with extreme care and selectivity. This is NOT a first-come, first-served opportunity. Finding the right home with the experience, understanding, and ability to safely care for such a delicate little Chihuahua is my absolute priority. He's a handsome, charming little gentleman with all the delightful personality traits that make Chihuahuas such incredible companions! What makes Austin and his littermates especially meaningful to us is that this litter represents SEVEN generations of our breeding program on BOTH sides of the pedigree! Our entire foundation stands behind these puppies on both sides, representing years of dedication, thoughtful breeding decisions, and generations of dogs we have personally raised and loved. This is an accomplishment we are incredibly proud of! Austin is so much more than a beautifully marked puppy. He represents the history, consistency, and legacy of Salem's Finest AKC Chihuahuas, with our breeding program woven throughout both sides of his pedigree. Lilac Merle long coat male from Wednesday & Gumball.
Lilac Merle long coat male from Wednesday & Gumball.
Name: "Ruckus"
Gender: Male
Color/Markings: Lilac Merle with two partial blue eyes
Coat: Long coat
Personality: Ruckus is an absolutely handsome little boy who is another perfect copy and paste of his daddy, Gumball! Much like his brother Chaos, Ruckus inherited his father's stunning good looks and beautiful markings, but in a slightly larger, sturdier package! If you're looking for a Chihuahua with a little more substance, this is your guy! Ruckus has the kind of build that makes him a wonderful candidate for families who enjoy outdoor adventures, exploring, and including their dogs in everyday activities. Whether you're enjoying the outdoors, living in a colder climate, or simply looking for a loyal little sidekick to accompany you through life, Ruckus has so much to offer! His handsome markings, charming personality, and more substantial size make him an especially appealing little companion. I personally LOVE his size and appearance! There is something wonderful about a sturdy, well-built Chihuahua who can keep up with an active lifestyle while still offering all the affection and companionship this breed is known for. Ruckus truly brings a lot to the table, and I think he's going to make an exceptional companion for a very lucky family! ❤️🐾
