🧬 Health Testing & Breeding Standards

• All of our breeding dogs are:

• Genetically health tested

• Certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA)

• This helps ensure you’re getting the best-bred, healthiest puppies possible.

    🛑 Disclaimer: No breeder can guarantee a puppy will be entirely free of genetic defects. We carefully screen all sires and dams to reduce the risk of inherited health issues.

  • 🐶 Going Home Health Policy

• 30 days of FREE pet insurance (buyer must activate it)

• Vet-checked between 7–9 weeks of age

• Puppy is guaranteed healthy at time of pick-up

• Buyer must take the puppy to their own vet within 72 hours (or 3 business days)

  • IMPORTANT: Choose a vet familiar with small/toy breeds (e.g., Chihuahuas).
    Not completing this vet check voids the limited health guarantee.

  • 🔄 Wellness Exam Policy

• Know your puppy’s release date and schedule your appointment in advance.

• If your puppy is being shipped, plan multiple vet appointments to ensure you're seen on time.

• No extensions will be granted for late exams.

  • 🛡 1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

• Your puppy is covered for 1 year from date of purchase against life-threatening genetic defects, as long as all contract terms are met.

  • Not covered under this guarantee:

• Luxating patella

• Hernias (any kind)

• Collapsing trachea

• Undescended testicles

• Class I/II heart murmurs

• Inverted vulva

• Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD)

• Cherry eye

• Floppy ears

• Alopecia or other hair loss

  • If a condition can be treated, it is not considered life-threatening and is not covered.

  • 🧫 Parasites Disclaimer

    • Internal/external parasites are not covered under warranty.
      It is common for puppies to carry:

• Hookworms

• Roundworms

• Whipworms

• Coccidia

• Giardia

  • Regular fecal exams and deworming up to 16 weeks or longer is expected.

  • 💀 Life-Threatening Issues or Loss

• If your vet finds a life-threatening condition, puppy must be returned immediately with a written statement.

• Seller reserves the right to have the puppy examined by their own vet before a replacement is offered.

  • 🔁 Replacement Policy

    • If a major issue is confirmed and both parties agree on return:

• Buyer receives a comparable puppy (same size, gender, color, and value)

• If no suitable puppy is available, buyer will be notified once one is

• No cash refunds, only exchange

• All vet bills and shipping are the buyer's responsibility (both ways)

  • 🚫 Not Covered

• Poisoning

• Accidents

• Negligence

• Behavioral issues

• Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) – buyer must monitor food/water intake

  • 🕊 Loss of Puppy

• If your puppy dies within 72 hours of leaving us OR within the first year, a State Veterinary Lab autopsy/necropsy is required for a replacement.

  • 💵 Payments & Refunds

• All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE

• All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless puppy dies while in our care

• Deposits are transferable to another available or upcoming puppy (additional fee may apply)

  • 📝 Fee is waived if original puppy was deemed unfit by our vet.

  • 🔮 Size & Color Disclaimer

• We do not guarantee:

• Adult size

• Final coat color

• We use a weight chart (found on our website) as an estimate only.
