The puppies listed on this page are currently available for adoption. A non-refundable holding fee is required to reserve a puppy until they are ready to join their new home. We generally accept holding fees on puppies up to 16 weeks of age. If the puppy is older than 16 weeks, the full payment will be required to place a hold unless otherwise noted.

Holding fee amounts can be found on the Deposits tab above, or listed alongside each available puppy. Puppies are typically ready to leave for their new homes at 10 weeks of age or older. In some cases, they may be ready at 9 weeks, which is the earliest we allow puppies to leave Salem’s Finest Chihuahuas, and only when we determine it is in the puppy’s best interest. Each puppy is evaluated individually, and readiness may vary.

We make every effort to keep the “Pending” status updated in a timely manner, but availability is not guaranteed until a holding fee or payment is received and confirmed.

• Holding Fees are non-refundable, but may be transferable to another available puppy with a transfer fee.

• Puppies are only placed with approved applicants. An application is required and includes a $25 non-refundable fee.

• Estimated adult weights are just that—estimates—and may be updated over time.

• Prices listed are for Limited AKC Registration, meaning you agree to spay or neuter the puppy as outlined in our mutual contract. Full AKC may be available on select puppies for an additional charge. Please inquire if interested.

• Puppies will not be listed until they are at least 8 weeks old.

• Prices are subject to change at the seller’s discretion if the puppy remains available without a holding fee. A holding fee locks in the listed price.

• All of our puppies come with a one-year limited genetic health guarantee.

• For the safety of our puppies, those listed below are not eligible for meet-and-greets until fully vaccinated. Families select from photos and videos, with frequent updates on our website and social media.

Pickup Information:
Pickups are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday only to accommodate our work schedule. We are not available for weekend pickups. Please check our Pickup Schedule for upcoming availability and plan accordingly.
