Wednesday is a truly special girl who has given so much to our program, and now it’s her turn to be someone’s cherished companion.

She has whelped a few litters for us and has been an exceptional mama—attentive, nurturing, and devoted to her puppies. That same loving nature carries over into her interactions with people. Wednesday is friendly, outgoing, and happy to meet new faces, often greeting our vet staff with excitement and confidence. She has a warm, social personality that makes her easy to love and even easier to welcome into your home.

Wednesday comes to you:

• Up to date on all core immunizations and Rabies

• Fully health tested (OFA/CHIC certified)

• Embark tested

• With one dental cleaning completed (November 2025)

 

🐾Wednesday's Personality & Training

She has a solid foundation in the home and is:

• Crate trained

• Pen trained

• Dog door trained

• Pee pad trained

While she is not currently leash trained, she is a smart girl and should pick that up with a little patience and consistency.

She does well with other dogs of various sizes and has a very adaptable, easygoing temperament. While she hasn’t been exposed to cats, I do feel she would adjust well with proper introductions. She has also done just fine around my almost 2-year-old granddaughter, showing a gentle and tolerant side.

Wednesday is just finishing up with a litter, so her coat is currently blown due to hormones. Once she is spayed and her hormones regulate, her coat will come back in full and fluffy.

Wednesday is the kind of dog who will thrive in a home where she can soak up attention, companionship, and love. After spending her life in a structured breeding environment, she deserves a family who will make her the center of their world. She is affectionate, loyal, and carries herself with a quiet confidence that makes her a joy to be around.

​She enjoys the company of other Chihuahuas and people, but can be shy initially. She does need more socialization in time after her decompression and acclimation period.

She may be a little shy at first in a new setting or with new people—but once she settles in, she truly blossoms into a loving little companion.

🏠 What She’s Looking For

Wednesday would thrive in a home:

• With other small breed dogs for companionship

• That may include cats

• We are unsure how she would do with small children

• Willing to be patient while she adjusts

Potty Training Disclaimer:
While she is potty trained here, we cannot guarantee she will be in a new environment. Like all of our rehomed adults, we recommend being open-minded and ready to reintroduce her to a new routine.

• Application required and must be pre-approved

• Meet & greets available (scheduled Tuesday–Thursday during our puppy pickup dates only)

• Shipping available (at adopter’s expense; return shipping also your responsibility if rehoming doesn’t work out)

• Her name can be changed!

• Local or out of state home welcomed!
