🐶 About Linus

Linus is a handsome young adult male who is retiring from our program and ready to find a patient, understanding home of his own.

He is a more reserved and sensitive boy, especially in new environments or with unfamiliar people. Linus takes a little time to feel safe and comfortable, but once he does, he begins to show his softer, sweeter side. He is the kind of dog who forms a deep, meaningful bond with his person and thrives in a calm, predictable environment.

Linus would do best in a home that understands the 3-3-3 rule and is willing to give him the time and space he needs to decompress and build trust at his own pace. He is not the type of dog who will be instantly outgoing, but for the right person, the connection you build with him will be incredibly rewarding.

He prefers a quieter lifestyle and would likely do best in a home without a lot of chaos or constant new stimulation. Once settled, he enjoys companionship and being near his person, even if he expresses it in a more subtle, gentle way.

He has been raised around other dogs and would likely do best with a calm, respectful canine companion, though he may also thrive as the center of attention in a quieter home.

Linus is looking for someone who will see his potential, respect his personality, and allow him the time he needs to truly blossom. He may not be the most outgoing at first, but he has a sweet, loyal heart and will become a devoted companion to the right home.

If you’re someone who values building trust and forming a deep bond with your dog, Linus could be a truly special addition to your life.

He is:

  • Pee pad and dog door trained

  • Crate trained

  • A minimal barker

  • Treat-motivated

  • Good with other dogs

  • Accustomed to a structured home environment

  • Slightly shy at first but turns into a funny, charming character once comfortable

  • A great option for someone wanting to skip the puppy stages

  • He can have his name changed

  • Fed Purina Pro Plan, which he enjoys

🏡 Ideal Home

Linus would thrive with a person or family who:

  • Can provide patience and structure while he adjusts

  • Understands the 3-3-3 Rule for dog adjustment (3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn, 3 months to settle)

  • Is open to reintroducing potty training in a new environment

  • Wants a young adult dog with training foundations in place

📌 Note: Linus is from a breeding home and will need some time and consistency to fully transition to a new routine.
