Meet Acorn
Acorn is a handsome chocolate spotted on white smooth coat male Chihuahua, proudly born here at Salem’s Finest. He was originally held back as a potential addition to our breeding program and has completed all required and recommended health testing. His results are publicly available through the OFA database.
After further evaluation, we have decided to place Acorn in a loving pet home where he can thrive as someone’s devoted companion.
Acorn does best with other small breed dogs and truly enjoys canine companionship. He loves people and dogs his size and is a friendly, well-rounded boy with a sweet nature. In familiar surroundings, he is confident and engaging. In new environments, he may initially appear shy or reserved — but with time and patience, he acclimates beautifully and blossoms into a wonderful companion.
He is available for an in-person meet and greet or may be adopted sight unseen for approved families.
When welcoming an older puppy or young adult into your home, it’s important to understand that the adjustment period varies with each individual dog. Please be sure to review the 3-3-3 rule for decompression and settling in. Patience and structure during this transition are key to long-term success.
Acorn is ready to find a home where he can feel secure, loved, and part of a small-dog pack. 🤍
